47 new covid cases, zero deaths in Goa on Wednesday Goa News – Times of India

Panaji: Goa on Wednesday reported 47 fresh Covid-19 cases, 70 recoveries and zero deaths, pushing the active caseload below 600.
The daily case positivity rate for the month hit an all-time low – 0.94%.
Six patients were admitted to the hospital and an equal number were discharged.
The recovery rate rose marginally to 97.78%.
In South Goa, 13 centers had less than 20 cases each, while Madkai Primary Health Center had zero cases.
Other centers had even lower caseloads, below 50, and only the Margao Urban Health Center had 69 active cases.
In North Goa, the scene was no different, and all had less than 50 cases, while the centers of Kasarvarnem and Mayam had the least number of cases.
Meanwhile, a total of 6,402 people were vaccinated on Tuesday, out of which 845 got the first dose and 5,578 got the second dose.
As of Wednesday, the state’s partially vaccinated population stood at 3,91,033, while the total number of those who received both the jabs stood at 8,37,947.
