Ministry of Defense has notified the recruitment process for 458 vacancies of Cook, MTS (Chowkidar), Barber, Gardener, Tin Smith, Camp Guard, Fireman, Fire Engine Driver, Messenger, Cleaner, Civilian Motor Driver & Other Posts. Army Service Corps (ASC) at Center South. The vacancies will be subject to horizontal reservation for ex-servicemen, meritorious sportspersons and physically challenged persons.
All applications are to be sent through a self-addressed registered envelope duly accompanied by a self-attested copy of required documents along with proper postage stamp. All applications should come within 21 days from the date of publication of the advertisement. Candidates can apply for only one trade. Applications of candidates will be rejected if found for more than one trade.

Indian Army Recruitment 2022: Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications: To be eligible for the recruitment, candidates must have passed Matriculation (Class 10) or equivalent from a recognized institute. In addition to this, they should also possess the required skill expertise for the post they wish to apply for. In some posts, such as Station Master, the minimum qualification required is Class 12 pass certificate, relevant work experience etc.
Age Range: The age of the candidates applying for the recruitment should be between 18 to 25 years as on the last date of receipt of application. The maximum age limit for the post of Civilian Motor Driver is 27 years. Additionally, candidates from reserved categories are eligible for age relaxation.

Indian Army Recruitment 2022: Selection Process
Candidates will be selected for the posts on the basis of skill, physical, practical and merit in written test. The written test will consist of objective type questions of total 100 marks divided into four parts which include General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, General English and Numerical Ability.
The question papers of the written examination will be bilingual, i.e. English and Hindi but the questions from the subject of English language will be in English only. There will be a provision of negative marking. 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. The written test and all other skill, physical, practical tests, will be held only at ASC Center (South) / (North) Bengaluru, Karnataka. Candidates should note that no request regarding change of exam center will be entertained.
Indian Army Recruitment 2022: Salary
Selected candidates will be admissible in the pay scale of Rs 18,000 to Rs 29,200 along with DA and other allowances.
