Former Bigg Boss contestant, BJP leader and actor Sonali Phogat died of a heart attack on Monday night. She was 41 year old.

Sonali Phogat, who was seen for a brief period in BB 14, was in Goa at the time of her untimely death.

Sonali, who was in BJP, had posted a new pic only 13 hours ago (at the time of filing this copy). In the pic, she is seen sporting a bright pink safa on her head.

According to sources, Sonali Phogat’s body will be brought to Delhi from Goa. Her daughter Yashodhara is in an inconsolable state.

Sonali had contested the Haryana Assembly polls from the Adampur seat.

Vindu Dara Singh tweeted about her shocking demise and wrote, “Shocked to here about @sonaliphogatbjp ji gone to soon! #RipSonaliPhogat ji.”

In 2016, Sonali Phogat made her acting debut with TV show ‘Amma: Ek Maa Jo Laakhon Ke Liye Bani Amma’. She was also a part of the web series, ‘The Story Of Badmashgarh’ in 2019.

She rose to fame with her videos on TikTok that had a huge following.

In the year 2020 she made headlines for hitting a Market Committee Official in Hisar. Several videos of the incident circulated on social media in which Sonali Phogat was seen slapping the individual identified as Sultan Singh.

The late BJP leader then removed her chappal and began hitting the man with it.
