After two years, more than 40 thousand pilgrims have visited Baba Barfani in the Amarnath Yatra which started from June 30. So far 5 pilgrims have died during this yatra. This information was given by the officials on Sunday. He said that a pilgrim named Virinder Gupta is also missing from Chandanwadi-Sheshnag road during the yatra.

3 out of 5 people died of cardiac arrest
So far, out of 5 passengers died of cardiac arrest during the Amarnath Yatra. Officials said that Jai Prakash of Delhi died in Chandanwadi. At the same time, Devendra Tayal of Bareilly lost his life due to cardiac arrest in the lower cave and in the Qazigund camp of Lipo Sharma of Bihar.

Officials further said that 61-year-old Jagannath, who had come from Maharashtra, died due to deteriorating health in Pisutop. Whereas Ashu Singh of Rajasthan lost his life due to falling from a horse on MG Top.
