Sources told CNN-News18 on Wednesday that the interim Punjab government has given the go-ahead to the police to launch a massive operation at the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief’s Zaman Park residence.

Punjab’s Interim Acting Information Minister Aamir Mir said that intelligence reports said that around 30 to 40 miscreants who attacked military installations are present in the Zaman Park residence.

He gave a 24-hour ultimatum to Imran Khan’s party to hand over the miscreants to the government.

The acting information minister said it has been decided that the terrorists will be tried in a military court.
