Vadodara: Three women climbed the mountain on Thursday Gajrawadi overhead water supply tank Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) and threatened to kill himself in substandard conditions in a housing scheme. Women’s families were evicted from Kalyannagar a settlement.

The women wanted to go back to Kalyannagar where the housing scheme for the urban poor came later. If he did not do so, he threatened to kill himself by jumping from the water tank.
Firefighters and police officials reached the spot.
A net was laid under the tank by firefighters to ensure that women would fall into them if they jumped. An ambulance has also been kept ready to deal with any untoward situation.
Firefighters and police personnel climbed onto the tank and managed to drag the women down. One of them fainted and was taken to the hospital.
