3 land grabs were booked using forged documents. Rajkot News – Times of India

Rajkot: Three people, including a father-son duo, were booked for a 2014 land scam in which they allegedly forged documents to capture around 22 acres of land in Veja village on the outskirts of the city .
A complaint was filed against Prabhat Humbal, his son Praveen and Kathad Senglia under the Gujarat Land Grabbing (Prohibition) Act after an order was issued by the Rajkot collector’s office. All the accused are residents of Munjka village near Rajkot.
According to the police the complaint has been lodged by Rajendrasinh Jadeja43. Jadeja and eight others had inherited the land from his grandfather Abhaysinh Jadeja after his death in 2005.
After the expansion of the city, now the value of this land has become crores of rupees. In 2014, the accused, using forged documents on a stamp paper of Rs 3.5, filed a claim in the court that Abhay Singh had sold four acres of land to him from the land. He also gave power of attorney to Praveen.
Senglia has land owned by the complainant. The plot was rocky and mostly grassland where cattle grazed. Seeing that no one was using this land, the accused planned to grab it illegally.
Later two notorious criminals Bali Dangar And Jaypalsinh Jadeja And his gang had attacked Rajendrasinh’s uncle and occupied this land. The land grabbing committee of the Collectorate examined all the evidence presented by the complainant and ordered an FIR. ACP PK Dihora is investigating the matter.
