Los Angeles ShootingThree people were killed and four were injured in a shootout during a warehouse party in Los Angeles early Sunday. One of the gunmen remains in critical condition on Monday morning, according to Officer Jader Chaves, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Police Department. Detectives have yet to determine a motive in the shooting that took place in the Boyle Heights neighborhood at around 12:30 a.m. Sunday. No suspicious information has been released.

Blood-stained sidewalks and clothing – including a sneaker – remained on the road in the hours following the violence as detectives and forensic photographers documented the scene. Chaves said the condition of two other victims was stable on Monday and a fourth was discharged from hospital.

Chaves said that when they arrived, officers found two people dead from shots fired. The third person was later declared brought dead.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s office has identified two of the dead as Daniel Dunbar, 27, and Randy Tyson, 25. His autopsy is pending. Local rapper MoneySign$uede performed at the party and offered his condolences in an Instagram post, noting that he was on his way home when he got the call about the shooting.

“I pray for all those who were injured and killed last night,” the rapper wrote. “My condolences and hearts are with all the families of this hurt.”

Andre Preston told the Los Angeles Times that his 18-year-old brother, Brandon Castro, was hospitalized with a gunshot wound. “My little brother was in the wrong place at the wrong time,” Preston told the newspaper.
