3 Juveniles Escape From Observation Home | Coimbatore News – Times of India

Coimbatore: Three inmates escaped from the observation home for juveniles at Lakshmi Mills Junction in the city on Tuesday night.
Police said two minor boys, aged about 17 and 14, from Tirupur district, and another 17-year-old hailing from madurai were arrested by the Tirupur rural police in connection with chain snatching and robbery cases a few months ago. They were lodged at the observation home for juveniles.
On Tuesday around 8.15pm, the three boys managed to escape from the home. Immediately, the city police officers were alerted. Police conducted searches at bus stands, railway stations and other places to trace the minor boys.
