Pandit Sukhram is no more with us today, but he had a special identity in the politics of Himachal Pradesh and in the central politics as well. Called the father of communication revolution, he also got infamous in the telecom scam. Became a Union Minister, also went to jail. He was in politics for about 60 years. During this he won about 13 elections. Became MLA 5 times and MP 2 times. He also held the post of minister twice. He was expelled from Congress due to scam, went to BJP, again entered Congress.
