2022 ICC Under-19 World Cup: There is room for further improvement in my batting, says U-19 captain Yash Dhul

India Under-19 captain Yash Dhull said that his batting has room for further improvement, despite his scintillating 82 against South Africa in the opening match of the Under-19 ICC Cricket World Cup here, saying he will not repeat it. Would like Mistakes” he made in the match.

The four-time champions bundled out Proteas for 187 runs in 45.4 overs, giving a target of 233 runs to win.

Had it not been for the mix-up with Kaushal Tambe while going for the single, Dhul was looking good for a deserved century. With this innings after 50s against Australia and West Indies during warm-up matches, the right-handed batsman has now scored three half-centuries on the bounce.

“Yeah, it was a good start. We will take a lot of positive things from here onwards and try to improve match by match.” 11/2.

Perhaps referring to the run out for 82, Dhul said that he will ensure that he does not make the same mistakes in the next game here.
