2 terrorists killed in Kashmir: Security forces kill 2 Hizbul terrorists in Anantnag, ammunition recovered; 12 terrorists killed in 4 days

Security forces have killed two terrorists in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir. Kashmir Police said that arms and ammunition have also been recovered from the terrorists. In the last four days in Kashmir, there have been 5 encounters of security forces with terrorists, in which 12 terrorists have been killed.

Had connection with Hizbul Mujahideen

IG Police Vijay Kumar said that the slain terrorists have been identified as Ishfaq Ahmed Gani, resident of Chakwangund, Anantnag and Yawar Ayub Dar, resident of Dogripora, Awantipora. Both of them were members of terrorist organization Hizbul Mujahideen. Both were involved in several incidents.

Police said that there was information about the presence of terrorists in Shitipora, Bijbihara. Police started a search operation in collaboration with Army and CRPF. During this, terrorists hiding in a house started firing indiscriminately. In this encounter, two terrorists were killed by the security forces.

There was a plan to target the upcoming Amarnath Yatra

Security officials said that Ishfaq was active in terrorist acts from March 2020 and Yawar from December 2021. A senior security officer posted in South Kashmir said that the security forces have dealt a big blow to Hizbul Mujahideen. The terrorists had planned to target the upcoming Amarnath Yatra. The security forces have foiled it.

The tunnel to the BSF was just 150 meters away from the international border.

BSF found tunnel in Samba

A tunnel was spotted by BSF officers at Chak Fakira in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir. This tunnel was just 100 meters from the international border. This Pakistani post was also just 900 meters away from Chaman Khurd. BSF IG DK Bora had told that 21 sand bags were found from this tunnel. No marking of any kind was found on them. The tunnels seemed to have been dug recently. Earlier, the sacks found in the tunnel found Karachi were written on them. Terrorists killed by TV actress were killed in 48 hours
