2 terrorist accomplices arrested, whereabouts busted in Kashmir
Jammu and Kashmir Police along with other security forces have arrested two terrorist associates and busted a terrorist hideout in Kashmir. Srinagar Police with the help of 50 RR of Pulwama Police and Army arrested two Overground Workers (OGWs) of terrorists from Pulwama district of South Kashmir.
“During their interrogation, it was learned that terrorist Riyaz Sathargund (Lashkar-e-Taiba commander) had asked them to set up a hideout in Rajouri Kadal area of Nowhatta in Srinagar,” the police said.
On this information a cordon and search operation (CASO) was launched with CRPF and the whereabouts were traced.
“However, it was vacant and the owner of the house is being questioned. Further investigation is on,” police said.
