Veteran Bollywood actor-screenwriter Shiva Subramaniam passed away on Sunday night, April 10. The cause of death is not yet known. He was credited with writing the screenplays for the 1989 film Parinda and Sudhir Mishra’s Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi. He also won many hearts with his role Alia BhattFather in ‘Two Kingdoms’. Filmmaker Ashok Pandit confirmed Subramaniam’s death on Twitter on Monday morning. Not only him but filmmaker Hansal Mehta also shared a statement on social media and gave details of his funeral which will take place on Monday morning.

Mehta wrote on Twitter, “With sincere and heartfelt sadness, we would like to inform you about the passing of our dearest Shiva Subramaniam – one of the most iconic and great souls to ever live in human form. Incredibly talented , He was much loved and respected. Personally as well as professionally. We wish his wife Divya, mother, father, Rohan, Rinki and family, Bhanu Chitti and Shiv’s family and their huge family of friends and fans. I express my heartfelt condolences to you.

Ashok tweeted, “Extremely shocked and saddened to learn about the sad demise of our dear friend, great actor and wonderful human being Siva Subramaniam. My heartfelt condolences to his wife Divya. May God give you enough energy to face this tragedy.” Give.” ,

He was last seen in Netflix film ‘Meenakshi Sundareshwar’.
