A Class 12 scholar in Tamil Nadu’s Kallakurichi died by suicide after alleged torture by lecturers. The reason for demise as talked about within the first post-mortem was a number of accidents and haemorrhage.
Violence broke out within the Salem district of Tamil Nadu after a Class 12 scholar jumped off her hostel constructing on July 13. She was allegedly tortured by a instructor.
On Monday, the chemistry instructor of the college, Haripriya, and the arithmetic instructor, Kritika, had been arrested. Earlier, three administration officers of the college, together with the Principal and the secretary, had been arrested.
VIOLENT PROTESTS ERUPT
The alleged suicide of a Class 12 scholar created unrest in Tamil Nadu’s Salem district. Protestors torched faculty buses and police automobiles, injuring a number of police officers on Sunday.
As per studies, over 500 folks gathered on the faculty to protest and search justice over the demise of the Class 12 scholar. Nonetheless, it turned violent when the protesters began stone-pelting and setting faculty buses on fireplace. They even vandalised the college’s property.
