Mysuru: Bandipur Tiger Reserve foresters have arrested two persons on charges of hunting a black-naped hare for the meat on Tuesday.
The forest staff patrolling the area noticed the duo busy cooking the meat near a farm in Kadaburu Beat of Kundukere forest range in the wee hours, the foresters said.
They arrested the two persons, seized a two-wheeler, a home-made gun, a torch, utensils which were used for the crime and recovered the meat. The duo was produced before the JMFC court in Gundlupet, the foresters added. TNN
