2 cases registered against Punjab Police in Delhi: Accused of kidnapping Bagga and assaulting father; 4 personnel including DSP in custody

DSP of Punjab Police detained at Janakpuri Police Station.

2 cases have been registered against Punjab Police in Delhi. In these, the first case has been registered in the case of kidnapping of BJP leader Tajinder Bagga and second in the case of assault on his father. Delhi Police has detained 4 police employees including DSP of Punjab Police. The Punjab government has also given this information in the Punjab and Haryana High Court.

Confirming this, Punjab Police’s lawyer RK Rathore said that the case of assault has been registered on the complaint of Pritpal Singh Bagga, father of Tajinder Bagga. After which 4 policemen have been kept in Delhi’s Janakpuri police station.

Action taken by informing Delhi Police: Punjab Police
Mohali DSP Sukhnaz Singh says that Tajinder Bagga was asked to join the investigation by sending on record notices 5 times. He was avoiding it every time. As per the order of the court, we had earlier given notice to Bagga. After which he was arrested. The SHO of Delhi Police was also informed about this. When one party reached Bagga’s house for arrest, the other party had reached the police station. Apart from this, information was also given in the control room. We also have the recording of it. We have got videography done of the process of arrest.

Father said – the policemen punched me in the face
Tajinder Bagga’s father Pritpal Singh said, “Punjab Police personnel dragged Tajinder away. He was not even allowed to wear a turban. When I tried to make a video, I was stopped and taken to a room. There he punched me in the face. The Punjab Police also took away my phone. Arvind Kejriwal wants to forcefully implicate my son. After this, Pritpal Bagga reached the Janakpuri police station and lodged a complaint of assault against the Punjab Police. He was accompanied by Delhi BJP President Adesh Gupta.
