Hyderabad: Telangana On Thursday, 189 cases were registered and 2 Kovid-19 deaths occurred. The number of active cases in the state stood at 3,680.
The total number of cases since the start of the pandemic last year is 6,76,376 and the death toll is 3,995.
A total of 137 patients were declared healthy on Thursday, taking the total number of cured patients to 6,68,701. case fatality rate (CFR) is 0.59 percent while the recovery rate is now 98.86 percent.
Of the total cases in the state so far, 79.9 per cent have been asymptomatic while 20.1% have been symptomatic.
On Thursday, 36,883 samples were tested for the novel coronavirus. Telangana has now completed testing of 2.86 crore samples and has reached to 7.70 lakh sample tests per million population.
NS Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) reported 73 cases on Thursday, while neighboring Medchal Malkajgiri 4 cases were registered, Ranga Reddy registered 12 and Sanga Reddy 8 new cases were registered. Outside Hyderabad city and its outskirts, Karimnagar, Bhadadri and Warangal Urban reported 10 new cases, each with the highest number of cases. GHMC Limit
