Hyderabad: 183 new Covid-19 cases and 1 death were reported in Telangana on Thursday. The number of active cases in the state stood at 3,967. The total number of cases since the start of the pandemic last year is 6,69,739 and the death toll is 3,943.
A total of 183 patients were declared healthy on Thursday, taking the total number of cured patients to 6,61,829. case fatality rate (CFR) is 0.58 percent while the recovery rate is now 98.81 percent. Of the total cases in the state so far, 79.82 per cent have been asymptomatic while 20.1% have been symptomatic.
As many as 41,363 samples were tested for the novel coronavirus on Thursday. Telangana has now completed testing 2.71 crore samples and has reached to 7.30 lakh sample tests per million population.
NS Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) recorded 59 cases on Thursday, while the neighboring Medchal Malkajgiri 8 cases registered Ranga Reddy 15 and Sanga Reddy reported 1 case. Hyderabad city and its outskirts, Karimnagar Highest number of cases were reported with 18 new cases.
