The Bharat Jodo Yatra of Congress, which started from Kanyakumari, is coming to Himachal on January 18. The yatra will enter Himachal Pradesh from Milewan in Kangra district at 7 am. There will be a flag handover ceremony here. After this, Rahul Gandhi will first offer prayers at the Kathgarh Mahadev temple and take the blessings of Shiva and Mother Parvati.

Ashok Katoch, head of the Kathgarh Mahadev temple, told that information has been received about Rahul Gandhi coming to the temple to offer prayers. The temple committee has started making special arrangements for worship. Kathgarh Mahadev Temple established in Indora subdivision of Kangra district is quite mysterious.

It is claimed that the Shivling sitting in this temple is the first such Shivling in the world, which is divided into 2 parts. One part of it is considered to be Shiva and the other is considered to be the form of Mother Parvati. The Shivling installed in the temple is octagonal. The height of the Shivling worshiped as Shiva is 8 feet, while the height of the part worshiped as Mother Parvati is 6 feet.

Will travel 24 kms
As per the schedule, the yatra will halt at Kshatriya College Nadaun Kathgarh road at 11 am. Yatra will resume from Kshatriya College Nadaun after 3 pm. Party leader Rahul Gandhi, who is leading the 24-km yatra in Himachal Pradesh, will address a public meeting at Malout at 5.30 pm. During this, the culture of every district will be seen.

According to the information received, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra will reach Milewan in Himachal Pradesh on January 18 after traveling a distance of more than 3 thousand kilometers. After a journey of about 24 kilometers, a public meeting will be organized at Malot at 5.30 pm. Congress workers from the state will first reach Milewan and then Malot for the yatra.
