17 European countries approve Covishield: Serum Institute of India | India News – Times of India

Pune: Owner and CEO of Covishield-Maker Serum Institute of India (SII), Adar Poonawalla, Saturday rejected the “marketing authorization application” requirement European Union (EU), saying “16 of the 27 member states” and Switzerland (not part of it) ME) has currently approved the vaccine based on WHOof pre-qualification or emergency use list (EUL).

The 16 EU countries are Austria, France, Belgium, Bulgaria, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Latvia, Malta, Netherlands, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.
