161 new Kovid-19 cases registered in Telangana, 1 death Hyderabad News – Times of India

Hyderabad: 161 new COVID-19 cases and one death were reported in Telangana on Monday.
The number of active cases in the state stood at 3,750.
The total number of cases since the start of the pandemic last year is 6,72,650 and the death toll stands at 3,967.
A total of 161 patients were declared healthy on Monday, taking the total number of cured patients to 6,64,933.
case fatality rate (CFR) is 0.58 percent while the recovery rate is now 98.85 percent.
Of the total cases in the state so far, 79.9 per cent have been asymptomatic while 20.1% have been symptomatic.
On Monday, 37,844 samples were tested for the novel coronavirus.
Telangana has now completed the testing of 2.78 crore samples and has reached to 7.47 lakh sample tests per million population.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation reported 50 cases on Monday, while neighboring Medchal Malkajgiri reported 12 cases. Ranga Reddy Nine more Sanga Reddy reported three new cases.
Hyderabad city and its outskirts, Karimnagar With eight new cases, the highest number of cases were reported outside GHMC Limit.
