Every land owning farmer is provided with an annual income support of Rs 6,000 under the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme.

Beneficiary farmers are currently waiting for the 14th installment of PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. The 14th installment of the scheme is to be released between April to July 2023, and the release date will be announced soon by the central government. The beneficiaries received their last payment on February 26, 2023. The scheme is a program of the Central Government to enhance the income of all the landholding farmer families of the country.

Every land owning farmer is provided an annual income support of Rs 6,000 under the programme. Three equal payments of Rs 2,000 each are made to the beneficiary’s bank account instantly. PM Kisan So far 13 installments of the scheme have been released by the government. More than 8 million eligible farmers received a total of Rs 16,000 crore money from the government.

Three payments are made to the beneficiaries during a year. The first installment is sanctioned from April to July, the second from August to November and the third from December to March. All the recipients of PM Kisan Yojana are required to complete eKYC. As per the information available on the official website, individuals can complete eKYC on PM-Kisan portal using OTP-based mechanism. As an alternative, they can use the biometric-based method to complete the process by visiting the nearest CSC centre.

Step 1- Visit the official website of PM-Kisan portal- https://pmkisan.gov.in/

Step 2- On the homepage, click on ‘Farmer’s Corner’.

Step 3- Select the ‘Beneficiary Status’ link under ‘Farmers Section’

Step 4- A drop-down menu will appear. Applicants have to select their State, District, Sub-District, Block and Village.

Step 5- Select ‘Get Report’. Your payment status will be on the screen.
