Valentine’s Day is celebrated on 14 February

Even before Valentine’s Day, there are many such special days which people celebrate. All these days together are called Valentine’s Day Week. It is celebrated from 7 February to 14 February.

This practice dates back to the Vedic era.
Dhyan Foundation, a spiritual and charitable organization working for cattle welfare, says that hugging a cow is not a new-age activity. This trend has been going on since the Vedic era. Ashwini Guruji of the Foundation has claimed that a cow is a highly evolved and sentient being and is called Dhenu in the Vedas. He told that it is said about Kabir that he got his poetic ability when a cow licked his forehead. The cow is entangled with a higher consciousness at the quantum level and this has karmic effects on humans. He said that almost all world religions and cultures have talked about the benefits associated with the cow.
