Surat: A 21-year-old man befriended an 11-year-old minor and lured him to a hotel with him. Dindoli In the area of Surat where he allegedly raped her.
The accused Bittu Vinay Mishra, a resident of Ambika Row House in Dindoli, allegedly raped the girl sometime in the first week of November. After this, he started blackmailing her by threatening and then raping her several times in different hotels of the city.
The minor later narrated the entire incident to his parents, who took him to the Dindoli police station where a complaint was lodged. Police have registered a case under Rape and POCSO Act and are investigating further.
According to police sources, the minor girl living with her family in Surat met the accused two months ago and the two became friends. When he lured her to go to the hotel with him, he started blackmailing her by threatening to reveal about their relationship in front of his parents for more sexual abuse.
When he spoke to his parents about the man and what he had done to him, the parents immediately contacted the police, who are now on the lookout for him to arrest the absconding accused.
