Demand is rising from all over the country for the safe return of Indian students trapped in Ukraine.

103 people are stranded in Chandigarh in Ukraine. Its list has been released by the Ministry of External Affairs. The Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana has urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the safe return of the students from Ukraine. Many students from Punjab and Haryana including Chandigarh are stuck in Ukraine.

Bar Council Chairman Minderjit Yadav has said that children of many lawyers from Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh are studying in medical and engineering colleges/universities in Ukraine. He is ready to help the government in every way in the return of the children.

It is worth noting that the Indian Embassy is making efforts to return the children to their homeland through diplomatic means. Under Operation Ganga, the government’s Ministry of External Affairs has also issued helpdesk numbers. The Ministry of External Affairs has also released a list of 103 Chandigarh residents stuck in Ukraine. Chandigarh Administration is contacting the families of the stranded people in Chandigarh. Some students and others have come back from Ukraine. At the same time, the administration is also providing transport service for the people of Chandigarh coming to India from Ukraine.

Chandigarh Administration is also trying to help

The Chandigarh Administration is collecting information about the students and other people trapped in Ukraine through number 112 and sending it further to the Government of India. Chandigarh Administration has also set up a helpdesk at New Delhi airport. The Indian government is sharing information about the people trapped in Ukraine with the Indian Embassy in Ukraine and other nearby countries.
