But the passengers claim that they are not getting any benefit. Because suddenly some metro is getting ‘canceled’. No announcement is being made. Time has changed only when the metro came on the digital board of the stations. After all, by the time you board the metro from Sadan, the local train has already left Taliganj. Had to wait for about 50 minutes for the next train.
A section of passengers complained that such a situation does not happen on a lonely day, but often at night. They claim that the problem may be the same in the morning, afternoon and evening, but at night the ‘disease’ has taken the form of an epidemic. The fact is that the Metro authorities (North-South Metro Corridor) have practically accepted it. Metro’s Chief Public Relations Officer Kaushik Mitra said that the problem is coming due to work on the line. He assured that the metro will come on time only after the completion of the work.

However, the passengers were not satisfied with this assurance. Rather, they are irritated by such incidents continuously. He is quite shocked. Anger is giving. According to him, after the day’s work is over, he is extremely tired and is trying to return home as soon as possible. Then who likes it if the metro is always cancelled? Those who get down from the metro on foot, take the autopath or return home by rickshaw, do not feel late either. But there are many people who get down at Rabindra Sarovar and catch a train from Taliganj or get down at Kabi Subhash Metro station and catch a train from New Garia station to Canning, Baruipur, Diamond Harbour, Laxmikantpur local. He has an hour long story in the train.
The question of the aggrieved passengers, is it okay to run trains everyday for such negligence of Metro? They are looking for the answer to the question that when will they get relief from this pain. However, Metro officials could not respond. Metro officials only assured that the problem would be resolved soon.
