মাধ্যমিকের টেস্ট পেপার থেকে ‘আজাদ কাশ্মীর’ বাদ পর্ষদের! ইতি টানার চেষ্টা বিতর্কে

Amid controversies, the word ‘Azad Kashmir’ was dropped from the question paper of the secondary examination. This was informed by the notification issued by the Board of Secondary Education on Tuesday night. The board also apologized for having the word ‘Azad Kashmir’ (used by Pakistan) in the question paper.

Madhyama Pariksha 2023 Test Paper has been released in view of the Madhyamik Pariksha 2023 Test Paper published by the West Bengal Madhyamik Parishad on Tuesday night. There is an uncorrected error on page 132 of the History exam paper. The first option (2.4.1.) will be treated as Kashmir instead of Azad Kashmir.’ Along with this, the board apologized for the whole incident.

Secondary examination is going to start from next month, meanwhile, a heated debate started on Tuesday regarding the test paper published by the board. The term ‘Azad Kashmir’ was used in a question paper of History. In the question paper, it was asked to show ‘Azad Kashmir’ on the map of India. The question paper was from a school in Malda.

A fierce controversy started regarding that incident. Political struggle begins. The BJP started cannonading against the Trinamool Congress government. BJP’s All India Vice President Dilip Ghosh alleged that the Trinamool government was supporting separatists. He said, ‘The supporter of separatist forces is Mamta’s (Mamata Banerjee) government. Students are asked to recognize Pakistan Occupied Kashmir as Azad Kashmir. The state government is not only supporting the extremists, but is creating anti-India sentiment among the young students.

However, the Trinamool in turn attacked the BJP. Trinamool leader Shantanu Ghosh said, ‘The council will do its own work. But BJP has no right to talk on this issue. He has reformed the education system of the country. Which can be understood from the National Education Policy 2020.
