Amritpal is absconding since March 18. Police teams are raiding for his arrest.
Khalistan supporter Amritpal, chief of Waris Punjab De, is absconding for the last 29 days. The Punjab Police has declared him an absconder. The police have arrested two youths who helped Amritpal during his escape. Weapons have also been recovered from them. He is a resident of Hoshiarpur. Apart from this, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has also detained a lawyer from Kapurthala. The lawyer had posted a post related to Amritpal on social media, after which this action was taken. The advocate has been identified as Rajdeep Singh of Kapurthala.
There was talk of Amritpal surrendering in Talwandi Sabo on the occasion of Baisakhi but he did not come. Intensifying the search for Amritpal, the police have put up his posters at several public places including Amritsar, Gurdaspur in Punjab.

The youth of Hoshiarpur gave 90 thousand to Amritpal
According to police sources, Amritpal Singh was helped financially by two of his associates in Hoshiarpur. Amritpal Singh was given 90 thousand rupees by two persons, so that he could find a safe place for himself. It is also learned that this amount had reached him from abroad. Police has arrested these two from Hoshiarpur after investigation and getting information. The police have also recovered two pistols from them. The inquiry is still going on, due to which no official is ready to share information about it.
Amritpal does not want to surrender
Amritpal Singh does not want to surrender now. According to police sources, Amritpal Singh is still in touch with his colleagues sitting abroad. He is even getting cash when needed. His attempt is somehow to escape through Punjab, Rajasthan or Jammu-Kashmir border or through Nepal.
Stir in Rajasthan too
After UP and Uttarakhand, now in Rajasthan also there is a lot of agitation for the last three days. Apart from Hanumangarh in Rajasthan, the local police is continuously conducting raids regarding Amritpal Singh in the border area. There is information that a woman from Rajasthan has also been detained by the Amritsar police. Police is not giving any input about why this woman has been taken into custody.

A few days ago, the police had revealed Amritpal’s plan to create Khalistan. Khanna Police’s SSP Amneet Kaundal had told that Amritpal had even made separate currency of Khalistan and flags of Sikh princely states. Apart from the private army Anandpur Khalsa Fauj (AKF), a Close Protection Team (CPT) was also formed. Every person in AKF was allotted a special number.

Firing range was also made, former soldiers were giving training
Police say that a video of the firing range has also been found from Amritpal’s gunner’s mobile. In which former soldiers are seen giving training to use weapons. This firing range was built in Jallupur Kheda village of Amritpal. Police has released this video. It is seen that the people living with Amritpal are practicing firing.
