There are 30 zones in Hisar Zilla Parishad. BJP, JJP and Congress did not field candidates on their symbol. As the election of the chairman drew near, councilors kept rallying with both the parties. At the time of Chairman-Vice Chairman election, 12 councilors went with BJP, 14 JJP and 4 with Congress. In such a situation JJP definitely became a big party but the key of the chair went to Congress.

1. BJP imposed minister’s duty: BJP knew that it is difficult to get the chair of chairman and vice chairman in Hisar Zilla Parishad without the support of Congress. That’s why the duty of Electricity Minister Ranjit Chautala was imposed. Ranjeet had an old friendship with former CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda. It was from here that the whole political cycle was started.

2. Hooda also did not want JJP’s chair: Bhupendra Hooda also did not want JJP’s dominance to increase in Hisar. In such a situation, it was decided that the chairman would be of BJP. Congress will get the chair of the vice chairman. After which voting took place and BJP got the chair of the chairman and Congress got the chair of the vice chairman.

JJP with 14 councilors remained away from both the chairs despite being the largest party. We had Karmakesh Kundu, Dinesh Sheoran, Sudesh Rani and Reena Badavad as corporators. In which Reena has now become the Vice Chairperson.

Haryana’s State Minister and Uklana JJP MLA Anup Dhanak took the councilors of his camp directly from Sirsa to Hisar. When the police asked to check the papers of only councilors in the bus and asked the number of councilors, they claimed 15. Although there were 13 councilors in the bus. Disappointed after the defeat, Minister of State Anoop Dhanak canceled his Janata Darbar which was to be held on Saturday.

BJP gave a blow to JJP slowly
Deputy CM Dushyant Chautala has been a one-time MP from Hisar Lok Sabha constituency. Has lost the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. Dushyant is an MLA from Uchana assembly constituency which comes under Hisar parliamentary constituency. In such a situation, he wanted to strengthen the stronghold of Hisar, but the BJP, with the political help of the Congress, defeated the JJP in Hisar and slowly gave a blow.
