A girl student of Charkhidadri, who was kidnapped in front of Maharani Kishori Devi College, Rohtak, Haryana, has been recovered. Police has arrested 2 kidnappers. The mastermind of the kidnapping is absconding. Initial investigation revealed that the girl student was kidnapped at gunpoint for forced marriage.

Then kept taking him around in the car day and night. He also went to Delhi, Haridwar and Chandigarh but after about 30 hours he was caught by the police. In search of the mastermind of kidnapping, the police is raiding fast.

The kidnapped student had come from Charkhidadri with two friends to study at Rohtak College.

The mastermind wanted to marry the student: Anshul Chahal, a resident of Hanuman Colony, wanted to marry the student. The student did not agree to this. After which he conspired to kidnap the student and marry her. For this, 2 friends Dev, resident of village Garnavathi and Aman, resident of Hanuman Colony of Rohtak joined together.

Kidnapping done by preparing planning in 24 hours: A day earlier i.e. on Thursday, a plan was prepared to kidnap the girl student. Anshul knew that the student goes to college daily from Charkhidadri. That’s why preparations were made to kidnap the student from there itself. Car was arranged for kidnapping.

After which Anshul, along with Aman and Dev reached Maharani Kishori College on Friday. There, before going inside the college, the student was abducted at gunpoint at the gate itself. The three accused forcibly put him in the car and fled from there.

Ran from Rohtak to Sonepat, changed car there: After sitting in the car, he first went to Sonipat. From there he boarded another car. Its planning was already there. At the time of hijacking and after that the car would have been identified through eyewitness or CCTV, so they changed the car. This car was already standing there ready.

When the police went to Sonepat, the car was found to have changed: As soon as a 20-year-old girl student was kidnapped from outside the college, there was a stir in the police. 4 teams of Rohtak police followed. Police recovered the car used in the kidnapping in Sonepat. After which it became clear that the kidnappers are now riding in another car.

Drove the car day and night, also went to Delhi, Haridwar and Chandigarh: To prevent the police from catching her, he kept the girl student in the car and drove the car day and night. Earlier he had gone to Sonipat. Then from there reached Delhi and Haridwar. Here he stayed for some time but could not find any place to hide. From Haridwar he came to Chandigarh.

Fearing getting caught here too, he came to Karnal. Kidnapping’s mastermind Anshul landed in Karnal itself. Seeing this, both of them started coming towards Rohtak with the other student. The police surrounded and caught his car on Gohana Road.

Villagers from Charkhidadri reached the police to protest against the kidnapping of the girl student.

Supported Anshul because of friendship
During police interrogation, the arrested accused Dev and Aman told that they are friends of the main accused Anshul. It is only for the sake of friendship that they have taken part in the crime of kidnapping. At present, the police is conducting raids to arrest the main accused Anshul. So that he too can be caught.

Girl student said – forcibly taken
Police thrashed the girl student and got her statement recorded. In which the student said that she was kidnapped. The police also came to know that the girl student and Anshul knew each other but the girl student has given statements only about forcibly taking her away.

The search for the main accused continues
Civil Line Station In-charge Harpal Singh told that the abduction has been done under planning. There was also a plan to escape and dodge the police, but all failed. To escape, the accused changed the vehicle and then kept running in the car from place to place. While Aman and Dev have been arrested, efforts are on to nab Anshul.

Family members had to protest
After abducting the student on Friday, when there was no clue even till Saturday, the family members reached Rohtak Mini Secretariat. Where they staged a sit-in outside the SP office demanding a meeting with the SP. After which the police informed the family members about the meeting of the girl student and got the strike ended.
