Jahangirpuri of Delhi was a very sensitive area in terms of taking out a procession on Hanuman Jayanti. On Wednesday, the police refused to take out the procession here citing law and order, but later allowed two processions on the fixed route.

A large number of forces have been deployed all over Jahangirpuri to prevent such a situation from happening today. Police patrolling the streets and accompanying the procession. Last year on April 16, tension broke out between the two communities during the Hanuman Jayanti procession in Jahangirpuri.

BJP MLA from Telangana claims – Arrested before going to the rally
BJP MLA from Telangana’s Goshamahal T Raja Singh has informed on social media that the police has arrested him before attending the Hanuman Jayanti rally. He accused the BRS government of the state that this government is not allowing Hindus to participate even in religious rallies.

Center issued advisory for states – keep an eye on everything
Keeping in mind the violence on Ram Navami last week, the Ministry of Home Affairs on Wednesday issued an advisory to all the states. The ministry said that law and order should be maintained so that peace prevails on Hanuman Jayanti. Keep an eye on everything that has the potential to disturb communal harmony.

Calcutta HC said- Bengal government should ask for force from the center

The Calcutta High Court has given instructions in this regard to the Bengal government on Tuesday. The High Court said- If you have less police, then you should ask for force from the Center and the Central Government should also immediately take steps on your appeal.
