The family came to Panipat in 1988
According to police records, Mathura Prasad had come to Panipat along with his family from village Kadarwadi, district Kasganj of UP. Here he started living in a rented house in Vikas Nagar. Mathura Prasad started working hard with his sons Deepak, Sunil.

Everyone worked hard and got their house built in 1995. Mathura Prasad is the grandfather of Arun Maurya. Whom he calls Baba. Arun Maurya has been living in Panipat with his brother and other family members for many years.

Arun’s father Deepak along with his wife Kela and younger son Aniket and daughter Sapna had gone back to their native village Kadarwadi district Kasganj UP 8 years back. While Arun Maurya started living with his uncle and grandfather in Panipat.

The CIA-2 police of Panipat arrested the accused Arun Maurya on 4 February 2022 with illegal weapons from near the liquor contract in Sector 25. During interrogation, he had told that he was fond of keeping arms, to fulfill which he had bought arms from Atul, a resident of Kadarwadi village, for Rs 3,000. On the tip of Arun Maurya, the police raided Kadarwadi and arrested Atul as well and sent both of them to jail.

Fighting again after coming from jail
Six months ago, after coming out on bail from jail, he assaulted a youth in Panipat and then fled to Kasganj, UP. At that time he had a fracture in his hand. After this he again came to Panipat. Here he started working with his uncle in a factory located on Kutani Road. He had gone to Delhi last Sunday saying to attend his friend’s wedding. After this his mobile was coming off.
