In view of the upcoming assembly elections and the general elections of 2024, political parties have made preparations to reach the last corner. The Congress, which has completed the Bharat Jodo Yatra, is running the Hath Se Hath Jodo campaign. At the same time, BJP is organizing programs across the country for wide publicity of budget announcements.

In this sequence, the BJP will start a countrywide campaign from February 24 to take the budget announcements to the farmers and to strengthen their hold among them. The year-long campaign aims to reach out to one crore farmers by taking out padyatras in one lakh villages.

National President of BJP Kisan Morcha, Rajkumar Chahar said, in the budget, the government has focused a lot on organic farming and shrianna (coarse grains). Kisan Choupal will be held across the country from 6 to 12 February to take the budgetary announcements to the farmers.

On February 13, there will be training of the team related to Kisan Morcha, social media and natural farming in Delhi. After completion of the training in the states also, a public awareness tour will be taken out in one lakh villages. On completion of four years of Kisan Samman Nidhi, there will be dialogue and contact with the beneficiaries in all the districts on February 24. A campaign will be launched to connect farmers with organic farming on the banks of rivers.

Padyatras will be taken out on the banks of all the major rivers. It will be started by BJP President JP Nadda and Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar at Shukrtal in Muzaffarnagar, UP by the end of this month or in the first week of March. According to sources, in the National Executive meeting of the Kisan Morcha held in Karnataka on January 29-30, it was assessed that it is necessary to actively reach out to the farmers for Mission 2024.

On the lines of the recently concluded Tamil Sangamam program in Varanasi, the BJP will take the workers and leaders of North India to famous places in the South. In this, BJP leaders will visit places famous for cultural, religious and architecture. There, will interact with the local people, visit and worship at religious places. Its purpose is to further strengthen the bonding between North and South.
