Punjabi singer Sidhu Musewala was shot dead a year ago, on 29 May 2022, by the Lawrence gang in Mansa district of Punjab. At that time Sidhu was going to meet his aunt in his Thar jeep. After the murder of Sidhu, his last ride Thar was kept standing in the police station for almost 6 months. In December-2022 the vehicle was returned to his parents. Sidhu’s father Balkaur Singh and mother Charan Kaur have a special attachment to this vehicle of the only son. For this reason, he decided to save it. Sidhu’s fans also have a different craze about this car.

In December-2022, the family sent the Thar jeep to Delhi’s ‘Auto Daddy Custom’ company, which is famous for the modification of vehicles, for refurbishment. The company worked on it for 25 days. In fact, when the police handed over this jeep of Sidhu to the family, there were marks of bullets and blood on it. The radiator and tires of the vehicle covered with mud had burst. The glasses were also broken.

Ansh Chowdhary, director of Auto Daddy Custom, says that while sending the jeep to him, the family had only said one thing and that its originality should not be lost.

32 bullet marks on Thar
Ansh Chaudhary said in a conversation with Dainik Bhaskar – There were 32 bullet marks on this Thar. We had to preserve all these. The side glasses were broken and the front glass also had bullet marks. It was not a big deal to handle the car with the same marks of bullets. The real problem was the front windshield. Sidhu’s father Balkaur Singh and mother Charan Kaur did not want to remove the bullet marks on the windshield of the vehicle.

Solution came out after talking with experts
After consulting experts, it was decided to refurbish the front glass so that the bullet marks do not remain on the windshield for years. The marks were preserved without removing the front glass using chemicals. Otherwise it could have been broken due to car driving and air pressure, but now it will not happen. There will be bullet marks on it and it will not break.

fixed the tires
The tires of this jeep of Sidhu are also original. They were not replaced. In fact, the company’s team took out the old tires and got them repainted, so that the bullet marks on it remain visible and they run like new ones for a long time. All the side glasses and radiator have been changed in the Thar jeep. Actually, the original radiator of the jeep was damaged due to the bullets. It could not be repaired. After which it was replaced.

all-day visitor lines
Ansh Chowdhary told that when people came to know that Sidhu Musewala’s Thar jeep had come to their place, a crowd of people started gathering here everyday. For the first one or two days only 30-40 people came, but after that more than 100 people started coming to see it daily. The team had to face a lot of difficulties in preserving the vehicle amidst so many people.

40 thousand spent on refurbish
The family spent Rs 80,000 on transporting and refurbishing this car to Delhi. Out of this, 40 thousand rupees were spent only on refurbishing. The remaining Rs 40,000 was spent on its transportation.

This vehicle was taken to Delhi in a closed container so that people could not know that Musewala’s Thar had been brought to Delhi. After refurbishment, it was taken back to Musa village in a closed container.

This vehicle inside Sidhu’s mansion in Moosa village remains a center of attraction among his fans. Every fan who comes to the haveli definitely clicks a photo with it. This Thar jeep and Musewala’s 5911 tractor stand under a shed in Kothi. Ropes have been tied around them so that fans do not climb over them. On March 19, 2023, the family celebrated the first anniversary of Musewala. At that time this Thar jeep was made to stand on it by making a stand.
