Wankhede is currently surrounded by allegations of demanding bribe. CBI has registered an FIR against him.
Former NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede says that he and his family are being threatened with death in the name of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim.
Wankhede told the Mumbai Police that he was receiving threats from a fake Twitter account. After which Wankhede informed the senior officers of Mumbai Police.
Sameer Wankhede trapped in bribery case
Wankhede is currently surrounded by allegations of demanding bribe. CBI has registered an FIR against him. The investigating agency says that Sameen had demanded Rs 25 crore in exchange for the release of Shahrukh Khan’s son Aryan in the Cordelia Cruz drugs case.
CBI has registered an FIR against 5 people including Wankhede in this case. However, to avoid arrest, Wankhede approached the court. The court had stayed his arrest till June 8.
CBI interrogated for 11 hours
The CBI interrogated Sameer Wankhede for 11 hours on 20 and 21 May. He stayed in the CBI office from 11 am to 4 pm. While going inside, he raised the slogan of Satyamev Jayate in front of the media. Chats with Shahrukh Khan were made public
Wankhede had presented chats with Shahrukh Khan in the Bombay High Court on 19 May. In this, Shahrukh is asking Wankhede that his son should not be put in jail. Shahrukh said that Aryan will be broken if he goes to jail. He requested Wankhede to please send my son home. Read full news…
