Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually inaugurate the ‘One Earth, One Health’ summit being held at Pragati Maidan in Delhi. The theme of the two-day event is ‘Medical Travel and Healthcare Export’. Its purpose is also to recognize India as an International Medical Tourism Hub.

The summit to be held on April 26 and 27 will be the sixth edition of Advantage Healthcare India (AHCI). Health Secretary Lav Agarwal said that India has emerged as a major hub for medical facilities and welfare services.

The aim of the summit is to showcase India as the new hub of medical pricing.

The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in association with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) has co-branded the 6th edition of Advantage Healthcare India 2023 (One Earth One Health) with the Indian G20.

Health ministers will be included in 10 countries

The summit will be attended by over 200 promoters and over 500 delegates from 70+ countries across Africa, Middle East, CIS and SAARC. There will be reverse buyer-seller meetings and scheduled B-2-B meetings with over 70 host delegates. Designated countries in the region of Africa, Middle East, Commonwealth, SAARC and ASEAN will bring together Indian healthcare providers and foreigners on a single platform.

Ten health ministers from different countries along with other dignitaries from ten countries and 470 delegates from government, private hospitals will participate in the summit. Health ministers from countries like Bangladesh, Armenia, Bhutan, Egypt, Ghana, Guinea, Maldives, Nigeria, Russia and Somalia are expected to participate in the summit.
