When the blood-soaked girl ran to save her life, the young man chased her and started dragging her on the road by holding her hair. During this, the accused also attacked himself. Police have arrested the accused.

The incident is of Gudhiyari area. According to relatives, his daughter used to work in the spice center of accused Onkar Tiwari. Tiwari told the girl’s mother – Give me your daughter, I will keep her as a wife. The family members refused it. Angered by this, Omkar Tiwari has carried out the incident.

Relatives told that on Saturday night the eccentric Omkar Tiwari entered their house with a gandasa. Then misbehaved with the family members. The girl was beaten up and then attacked with a machete on her neck and several parts of her body. During this, the blood-soaked girl ran outside to escape. But she fell on the road as soon as she ran. The family members of the girl also kept trying to handle her. By then the miscreant again attacked the girl.

Many people have also made a video of the incident. It can be seen that the blood-soaked girl is moaning in pain on the road. Accused Omkar is fearlessly moving forward on the road pulling her hair. He also has a gandasa in his hand. During this, people are also seen coming and going around, but no one is trying to save the girl.

This incident went on for one to one and a half hours in the middle of the road, but the police did not know anything. While Gudhiyari police station is also at a short distance from the spot. When some people informed about the incident, the administration swung into action and arrested the youth. The accused is being interrogated. At present, the girl is undergoing treatment and her condition remains critical.

Relatives say that kerosene has also been found near the accused Omkar Tiwari. When reached the girl’s house, kerosene was present near it. The accused was also going to try to burn the girl by pouring this oil on her. At present, the police is interrogating the family members of the accused and the girl. When the girl’s condition is fine, the police will also take her statement.

Case registered under Arms Act

According to Alexander Kiro, in-charge of Gudhiyari police station, the accused Onkar Tiwari wanted to marry a minor. And the minor was continuously denying. There was a dispute between the two for the last few months regarding this matter. Eventually the accused made a fatal attack on the girl. A case has been registered against the accused under the Arms Act.

Onkar Tiwari alias Manoj, 47 years old, lives in Bada Ashok Nagar area near Durga Chowk Anganwadi of Gudhiyari. Tiwari runs a shop named Masala Center in Gudhiyari area itself. The girl had reached 6 months ago in September 2022 to work in his shop. Where the owner of the Masala Center used to molest her, due to which the girl left the job.

The parents of the minor girl work as laborers. The girl also has a brother. He reached the police station and lodged an FIR in this matter. The girl was present at home with her mother when the incident took place. The whole incident took place on Saturday night at 8 pm.
