LESA Chief Engineer Anil Kumar Tiwari told that the drone campaign has been very successful. For the first time, we adopted the method of catching thieves with drone cameras. It was not possible to go to the roof, in such a situation the drone is helping us completely.

He told that if this campaign becomes successful, frequent breakdowns of supply will be reduced. Last time, by running a normal campaign, the department had reduced the power demand by 15 MVA. Means, that much theft was stopped. This time it is expected that this figure will be more with the help of drones.
