In Haryana’s Rewari, a Muslim youth first lured a Hindu girl into a love trap and then disguised himself as a Hindu and eloped with the girl. He also married the girl. After this, forcibly converted the girl and married her at gunpoint.

The girl alleges that the brother of the accused also raped her. Somehow, freeing from the clutches of the accused, the young woman reached the police station and lodged a complaint. The police have registered a case and started action.

Met the accused during studies
A girl living in a colony of Dharuhera area told that in the year 2020, when she was studying BA second year, she met a young man named Prem. The young man gave him expensive gifts and said that his relative is on a big post and he will get him a job.

The young man trapped the girl in a love trap by lying. After this, on 18 November 2020, the accused forcefully took him to Haridwar by sitting on a bike. He raped her there and married her the next day after taking her to a temple.

The girl alleges that on November 20, 2020, the youth’s father Tahir Khan, uncle Tasavvar, uncle Akbar, Tau Suleman and Tahir Khan’s friend Babulal reached Haridwar and forcefully brought them to Uton village in Nuh. She was brought to the village, converted and forcefully married at gunpoint. After this the girl came to know that Prem’s real name is Mausam Khan.

The victim girl told that when she protested after knowing the truth, she was kept hostage in the house. Mausam Khan’s brother Salim raped her. The family members used to beat him. On April 18 also, she was thrashed so much that she became half-dead.

On April 19, when the family members had gone to the farm. At that time, the girl escaped from there after getting a chance and reached Dharuhera directly to her family members. The family reached the Dharuhera police station with their daughter. After this the victim reached the police station. Police has registered a case against Mausam Khan, his father Tahir Khan, brother Salim Khan and others under various sections.
