PM Narendra Modi is going on a two-day visit to Kerala from 24 April. Prior to his visit, Kerala BJP president K.K. Surendran has received a threatening letter. In the letter, a suicide attack with a human bomb has been threatened during the Prime Minister’s program. The letter is written in Malayalam. It has been said in this that the condition of Prime Minister Modi will be like that of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi.

It may be known that on May 21, 1991, former PM Rajiv Gandhi was assassinated by a human bomb in Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu.

Police engaged in investigation
The news of the threatening letter came to light on Saturday after a report by ADGP (Intelligence) was circulated in the media. As soon as the news came out, Surendran met the media and said that he had handed over the threatening letter to the state police chief a week ago.
After this, the police has started investigating. High alert has been issued in the entire state. The name and address are also written in the letter. The police immediately raided that address. The letter is written in the name of NJ Johny, a native of Kochi. Police said Johnny denied having any knowledge about the letter.

Surendran also alleged that the police had made a grave mistake by leaking the intelligence report and it should be probed. An intelligence report has been leaked. In this 49-page report, the names of the officers on duty, their role, detailed program chart of the PM and other matters have been given.
The handwriting of the person found at the address is different
Police said, a person was found at the address mentioned in the threatening letter. He didn’t know anything about the letter. He was very scared after listening to the letter. The police matched his handwriting with the handwriting of the letter. Police said the handwriting is different. Johnny said that there might be someone behind the threat who wants to implicate me. Police said, the sender of the threatening letter used his false address. The police is probing the matter.

Johnny’s family said they suspect another person in the area. He has some dispute with that person regarding some matter related to a church.

High alert has been issued in the entire state after the suicide attack was reported. Along with this, security agencies have also come into action. Security has been beefed up at every bus stop, railway station and airport in Kerala. Vehicles are also being checked along with every visitor.

PM visits 8 cities from 24th April
PM Modi will participate in seven programs in 8 cities from 24 April. According to the schedule released by the PMO, Modi will travel over 5,300 kilometers in 8 cities within 36 hours from Monday.

On April 24, PM Modi will travel from Delhi to Madhya Pradesh, then to Kerala in the south, then to the union territories of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu in the west.

PM will go from Delhi to Khajuraho and cover a distance of about 500 kms. From here he will go to Rewa to participate in the National Panchayati Raj Day programme. After this, he will come back to Khajuraho. During this he will cover a distance of about 280 km.

Khajuraho to Kochi
After Khajuraho, Modi will leave for Kochi in Kerala to participate in the Yuvam Conclave. During this, they will cover an aerial distance of about 1,700 km. After this, on Tuesday morning, Modi will travel from Kochi to Thiruvananthapuram, covering a distance of about 190 km. There PM will flag off the Vande Bharat Express train. After this, he will also inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of various projects. After this PM will leave for Surat in Gujarat.

Will leave from Surat to Silvassa
The Prime Minister will go to Silvassa via Surat in Gujarat. During this, they will cover a distance of about 1,570 km. In Silvassa, Modi will visit the Namo Medical College and inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of various projects. He will then proceed to Daman to inaugurate the Devka beach, after which he will travel a distance of about 110 km to Surat. From Surat, Modi will return to Delhi adding another 940 km to his itinerary.
