These states include Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Punjab, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Uttarakhand, Telangana, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Himachal Pradesh, Konkan and Goa, Vidarbha, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu Are.

Meanwhile, monsoon has reached Madhya Pradesh after a delay of 7 days. It will reach the capital Bhopal in two days. According to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon has knocked in Maharashtra as well. There is a possibility of heavy rain here for the next five days. It rained heavily in Mumbai on Saturday. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for Mumbai.

At the same time, the situation is still bad due to floods in Assam. Here 5 lakh people of 20 districts have been affected by the floods. There is also news of 2 people losing their lives in the rain. Monsoon reached the country late due to cyclone Biparjoy, but now that the effect of Biparjoy is over, there is a possibility of rapid onset of monsoon in all the states.

4.89 lakh people affected by floods in Assam
According to the State Disaster Management Authority of Assam, 4.89 lakh people in 19 districts of Assam have been affected by the rains and floods. The district administration has set up 240 relief camps, 75 relief centers in flood-affected areas, while 35 thousand 142 people have been rescued and sent to relief camps. Many people have also settled on the roads and high plains.

The State Disaster Management Authority informed that 10 thousand 782 hectares of land has been submerged due to floods. Whereas, 4.27 lakh domesticated animals have also been affected in the floods. In the last 24 hours, flood water has reached 213 roads, 14 bridges, many fields, school buildings, irrigation canals.

North East – Rain in Assam, Meghalaya, Sikkim for next 5 days
