YouTuber Manish Kashyap has surrendered on the charge of making a fake video of attack on Bihari laborers in Tamil Nadu and making it viral. Manish has surrendered in Jagdishpur OP of Bettiah. Bettiah SP and teams of several police stations have taken Manish Kashyap under their protection.

Earlier on Saturday morning, Jagdishpur OP’s police reached to attach Manish’s house. In the deployment of the Magistrate, the police made attachment in Dumri Mahanwa village of Majhaulia. Bettiah SP Upendra Nath Verma told that for the last few days continuous action was being taken by EOU and Bihar Police. Attachment was taken out against Manish Kashyap on Friday and attachment action was also taken today. Under pressure from this, Manish has surrendered. Now further action is being taken.

6 teams of SIT constituted by EOU along with Patna and Champaran police were continuously raiding his locations since yesterday. Manish Kashyap’s house was attached at Majhaulia police station on Saturday. After this he surrendered.
There are 7 cases against Manish in West Champaran, attachment action has been taken on one of them.
In the Tamil Nadu case, 3 FIRs are registered against Manish Kashyap in Patna. Of these, 2 cases have been registered by the Economic Offenses Unit (EOU) for making fake videos on the Tamil Nadu dispute. On the other hand, the third case has been registered for making the matter of his false arrest viral. Apart from this, a total of 7 cases are registered against him in West Champaran. In one of these cases, the police had filed an application in the court for seizure of attachment. Action was being taken in this regard since Saturday morning.

According to ADG Headquarters, the team probing the Tamil Nadu case has found the viral video to be false. Which Manish Kashyap shared the video of a YouTube channel named BNR News Honey. In this video, two bandaged youths Anil Kumar and Aditya Kumar were shown as laborers. The video was shot by Manish Kashyap’s associate and resident of Gopalganj, Rakesh Kumar Ranjan and uploaded on March 6. This video was suspicious from the beginning.

The entire matter came to the fore on the investigation of the video and the interrogation of Rakesh. The ADG claimed that Rakesh has rented a house in Bengali Colony under Jakkanpur police station in Patna. It was at this place that he shot the video together with his two companions.
Rakesh has also accepted this thing during interrogation. It revealed that the video was staged with the aim of misdirecting the police investigation. Manish Kashyap, Rakesh Ranjan and Anil Kumar and Aditya Kumar, who became laborers in the video, have been named in the second case registered by the EOU. Rakesh has been arrested.
