The deceased has been identified as Babu Dhankumar Yadav (36), a resident of Narayanpur in Bhojpur district of Bihar. He was an overburden transporter in Naglon mine area in Majri area of ​​Waikoli. They were passing through Naglon mine at around 2.30 pm on Tuesday afternoon. During this, lightning struck him, due to which he died on the spot. The police have registered a case and sent the body for postmortem.

Three died due to lightning in Gadchiroli
In Maharashtra’s Gadchiroli district too, a couple and their two children were killed by lightning last Monday. An official of the District Disaster Management Office said the victims were passing by on a motorcycle. Meanwhile, lightning struck him near Desaiganj area. Bharat Rajgade (32), his wife Ankita (30) and their two children died on the spot, he said.
