West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has said that it remains in my mind that people should never misunderstand me. Sometimes we are given funds from the central government and sometimes not. It is being heard that now we will not get funds till 2024. If this happens, if needed, I will beg in front of the mothers of Bengal, but I will never go to Delhi (to the central government) to beg.

According to news agency ANI, Mamta Banerjee was addressing a public meeting in Kolkata. During this he has given this statement. This is not the first time Mamta has accused the Center of not giving funds to the Bengal government. On March 29-30, he staged a two-day dharna in Kolkata alleging non-funding by the Center for state schemes.

While sitting on the dharna, Mamta had said that the Center is not releasing funds for the 100-day work plan and other schemes. Even in the Union Budget, we have not been given a single rupee for MNREGA and Housing Scheme.

Mamta was earlier going to protest in Delhi
Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s dharna was earlier scheduled to be held in front of Ambedkar’s statue in Delhi, but later she decided to sit on dharna in Kolkata itself. On her way to Bhubaneswar, Mamta had told on Tuesday that she would protest against the central government on March 29 and 30.

He has said that the central government is withholding the money of the common man. People’s employment money in Bengal will have to be returned to the Centre. Mamta said that the prices of gas are increasing. That’s why I am going to sit on dharna for two days.

Along with Mamta Banerjee, many of her MLAs and leaders also sat on dharna.

Mamta said – Center owes 7 thousand crore rupees to the state
Mamta said that the central government owes Rs 7,000 crore to the state. He said that the government did not even clear the previous dues. The money for the housing scheme for the construction of 55 lakh houses has not yet been given. We are repairing bad roads in 12 thousand villages. I am doing all this with my own money. I get 1 lakh 15 thousand crore rupees from the center for 100 days work, road, housing.

Bengal CM called BJP a hypocrite
Mamta called BJP a hypocrite. Said that under the rule of BJP, the opposition is continuously harassed through central agencies. But as soon as any opposition leader joins BJP, he becomes innocent. This is the magic of BJP washing machine!
