The bail plea of former Education Minister Manish Sisodia in the Delhi Liquor Policy case will be heard on Wednesday in Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court. Sisodia is currently in ED custody.

Earlier, on March 20, the ED presented him in the Rouse Avenue Court through video conferencing. Special Judge MK Nagpal had extended Sisodia’s custody till April 3.

ED is analyzing the data received from Sisodia’s mobile
The ED told the court that Sisodia had changed his phone when the LG complained about the matter, but the agency retrieved his mobile data. Now the agency is analyzing the data extracted from his email and mobile phone. Now we have to ask more questions to Sisodia.

ED’s lawyer Zohaib Hussain had said that Sisodia’s assistant Vijay Nair was coordinating the entire conspiracy. Government machinery, middlemen and many others are involved in this scam. This conspiracy was hatched by Nair, Sisodia, Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s daughter. Kavita and many others composed it together. A money trail of Rs 219 crore has been detected in this case.

Sisodia’s lawyer said- ED has now become proxy of CBI
At the same time, Sisodia’s lawyer told the court that the ED has not mentioned any crime against the former deputy CM. The agency has to tell what happened in the process of crime? It is not to say whether the crime took place. Custody is not required for confrontation.

What is the need for ED to inquire when CBI has already inquired into the matter? ED is now working as a proxy agency of CBI.

On the other hand, Sisodia told the court that in the last 7 days of custody, the agency has questioned him only for half an hour daily. He was questioned till late night only on Thursday.

The court has said to hear the bail in the CBI case on getting time. The photo is of March 6, when Sisodia was being taken to Tihar Jail.
