Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court will pronounce its verdict on the bail plea of ​​former Deputy CM of Delhi at 4 pm today. The court had reserved the verdict in the ED case on April 18. Along with this, the Delhi High Court will also hear further in the CBI case today.

On the other hand, for the first time in its charge sheet, the CBI presented Manish Sisodia’s name in the court as an accused. The CBI has filed the charge sheet in the Rouse Avenue Court on Tuesday itself.

Apart from Sisodia, the names of 3 more accused
Apart from Sisodia, the probe agency’s charge sheet also named Hyderabad-based CA Buchi Babu Gorantla, Arjun Pandey and Amandeep Singh Dhall as accused. The court will hear the charge sheet on May 12. Buchi Babu Gorantla is the CA of Telangana CM Chandrasekhar Rao’s daughter Kavitha. ED has also questioned Kavita in the matter.

In the charge sheet, the agency said that the larger conspiracy and role of other accused in the case is being probed. CBI filed the last charge sheet on November 25, 2022.

Wife’s health deteriorated before the hearing
Manish Sisodia’s wife Seema Sisodia’s health deteriorated on Tuesday. He has been admitted to Apollo Hospital in Delhi. The team of doctors is checking his health.

In the last hearing, Dayan Krishnan had said that the lower court did not consider the medical condition of the AAP leader’s wife. He is suffering from multiple sclerosis and his condition is getting worse.

Sisodia’s custody extended till April 29
The custody of former Delhi Deputy CM Sisodia, who was arrested on February 26, has also been extended. On April 17, Special Judge MK Nagpal granted Sisodia custody to ED till April 27 and CBI custody till April 29. Significantly, the ED is probing the case of money laundering and CBI irregularities in the liquor policy case.

The court also sent two other accused, Arun Ramachandra Pillai and Amandeep Dhall, arrested in the case, to ED custody till April 29.
