Dainik Bhaskar’s National Editor Om Gaur has been given the Red Ink Journalist of the Year award. Mumbai Press Club Chairman Gurbir Singh praised Dainik Bhaskar’s fearless journalism at the Red Ink Awards-2022 for Excellence in Journalism held in Mumbai. He said that the Journalist of the Year award is being given to Dainik Bhaskar for his impeccable journalism during and after the Corona pandemic.
Dainik Bhaskar’s National Editor Om Gaur, who received this award, dedicated the award to his editorial team. He said to call ‘true as true’ and ‘false as false’…. Because of this principle, the credibility of Dainik Bhaskar is increasing. Dainik Bhaskar Group will continue to increase the prestige of journalism by doing impeccable journalism.

Om Gaur told the young journalists present at the function that the identity of the editor in the newspapers is not by his position, but by the news that he himself has done during his tenure. He asked the young journalists to continuously follow this path.

Expressed concern over the killing of journalists in India
On this occasion, Chairman of Mumbai Press Club, Gurbir Singh termed the killing of 3-4 journalists in India as serious. He said that it should be the aim of all of us to save journalism. During the function, former Police Commissioner N.M. spoke on the future of Independent News Media. Singh, noted lawyer Satish Manashinde and noted advertising executive Meenakshi Menon also held discussions.
TJS Lifetime Achievement to George
Former editor and columnist T.J.S. George was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award. At a function held at NCPA Auditorium in South Mumbai, Justice B.N. This award was given by Shri Krishna. During this, many dignitaries and celebrities including former judge Abhay Thipsay were also present.
