Former Union Minister Swami Chinmayanand was declared a proclaimed offender by a court in Shahjahanpur.
The Allahabad High Court granted anticipatory bail to former Union Minister Swami Chinmayanand Saraswati. In 2011, Swami Chinmayanand’s disciple lodged a complaint of sexual exploitation with the police. Swamy has been granted anticipatory bail till February 6. Rampur court issues non-bailable warrant against actress Jaya Prada

Online betting and gambling apps will not be legal: Government
Union Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Chowdhary has said that there is no plan to legalize online betting and gambling apps. In fact, Congress’s Vivek Tankha asked in the Rajya Sabha whether the government has conducted any survey on the amount involved in online betting and gambling and whether there is a plan to legalize it. On this, Chowdhary said, no survey has been done so far.
