A fire broke out at a paint shop in South East Delhi’s Jaitpur on Saturday morning. Police have recovered a dead body from the shop. However, the dead body has not been identified yet. Heavy snowfall stranded 900 tourists in Sikkim, returning to Gangtok from Nathula and Tsomgo lakes

900 tourists got stuck in Sikkim due to heavy snowfall on Saturday evening. All of them were returning to Gangtok from Nathu La and Tsomgo Lake. Sikkim Police said that these tourists were traveling in 89 vehicles. Army and police have reached to help them. So far 15 vehicles have been evacuated. The distance of Gangtok from where these vehicles are stranded is 42 kms. Arrangements are being made to make the tourists stay in the army camp for the night.
